Hopefully we get some clarity from the devs on this issue soon. Clearly something isn’t right here and at this point it needs to be changed or at least accurately portrayed on the event page. Hopefully we get some positive changes soon on this and maybe even a one week extension on the event since so much time was wasted farming with no drops at all for anyone.
I Don’t think it’s a bug. There’s just too many items that drops. There’s 10 different 2010 Winterfest items within the loot pool. All 10 are split between 3 rarity grades, Green Purple Pink, which makes that 30 items alone with their own drop chance percentage. Their 2012-2016 counterparts are exactly identical but they have, and must have, a higher drop chance than them. Afterwards you have tokens with 3 different rarity grades, vanities, L115 mythic pieces, and exp kits.
A L20 Purple Toy dropped so we know they exist also. I don’t know if L50+ Winter fest items have a different drop rate compared to the L10-45s but they are also dropping a lot. Twinks should probably not have acess to loot higher level items and exp kits.
Who dropped the 20 toy and from where? It doesn’t make sense ALL other items are being dropped regularly and NONE of the others have besides this 20 toy that I didn’t hear about drop.

I didn't, one of the people we were with told me he did. But I never actually saw it in a trade or anything. Seems too specific to be a troll or something so I assume he actually did get it. 5 days in and it is the only desirable drop I know of. However desirable a lvl 20 purp can be at least.
There is absolutely no doubt lvl 40 (I say 40 but it could be 50 or 60 whatever, just use 40 as that's really the value cutoff) and under 2010 drops are on a different level. I don't even have anything to compare them to they're that rare. I guess the original white lightning when it came out is the closest, and this is stomping that. It's definitely not as simple as just too many drops, yes there are over 1400. But 1/1400 chance is not bad odds at all (even 1/5000 odds are much better than what we are seeing). And with how many runs there have been there should be hundreds of greens purps and pinks of these sought after items. It is simply their drop rates are severely nerfed. Probably to some 0.%. There's no other explanation.
Are they nerfed to the point where even if drops were level specific they would be possible to get? I think maybe even then it would be insanely difficult, borderline impossible.
The 20 purple toy is a really insane case, that player should get a lottery ticket. Especially because I believe he got it Pre update. Of course if he really got it..
I think he got it from the super rare kill joy spawn. Not even the toyman boss.
So we still have no idea if even one dropped yet since it was not shown, a confirmation of it actually existing would be nice but looks like we will all be holding our breath.
I personally just want more L30 Candles to drop so we can revive 30 a bit faster.
Start farming; if things are dropping in stage 20, just gear up well and you're good to go. Expect a good drop.
Pretty sure reskin items stop dropping after 40 so that’s probably the reason why we are seeing 2010 Winterfest items more often at 50+.
The event feels like it's using the drop pool from winterfest 2014ish era. Where this exact scenario happened before, the og items were added in but only dropped at high levels. (I still have my level 70 snowball launcher and holiday slash from that time period). I don't know if those events intended for the og items to drop at lower levels, but that could be an explanation of why it's not working now. If that second winterfest base is being used and wasn't edited properly.
They weren’t intended to drop in low level. The reskinned items are meant to be direct replacements with the older 2010 Winterfest items. This is why they all share the same stats. The difference between the 2 is that the 2010 stuff is every 5 levels while the reskinned stuff are every 10. Same goes with the OG hallow items and the reskinned ones. Doll and Shrunken Head share the same exact stats. Same with Catshield and cage.
This is why it makes no sense to have 2010 and 2014 Winter items within the same exact drop table.
Reskinned Winterfest: PJs, Candle Prickly Mace, Duckfoot, Sledge shield, Holly Wing, Cuddle-Me frost, Mint cutter, and Berry staff.
Likely not true. They wouldn't have had the original items in the 2014 drops at all if that was the case.
Also, when you say same stats, that is irrelevant, like you said about the every 5. It's why 2010 items have always been far superior. Nobody pvps LVL 10, 20 or 30. Of course that's an exaggeration but 15, 25, and 35 have always been more popular by an extreme margin.
The only reason the OG 2010 items drop above 50 in those events is because the 2010 Christmas event was still in level 50 cap. It’s the same way Winterfest items exists in 110-115 cap despite not actually having a use. They’re just filler items.
Eh. 23 was equally as active as 27 was. Same with 30 and 35. However 2014 does not have the same playerbase or meta as 2025. Brining all of these items back achieves nothing but hurting collectors. There’s like 2 items that can see any form of use here. That’s 15 SBL and maybe 35 Toy.
Whatever the case for any of this it's irrelevant. We just need these items to start dropping ASAP.
This seem contradictory to a statement from yourself on a bug report as not all items for all levels that previously existed are dropping as items such and the Snowball launcher existed, and dropped, below level 50 but currently do not drop below this level.
Could we get clarification on the levels for items that can drop as they are not listed?
