Arena already demonstrates that gear isn’t the limiting factor. Seeing lvl 41 and lvl 63 runners achieve top times with little to no gear indicates performance is driven by execution and timing rather than equipment.

There is only one main reason why this is happening and if you can't figure it out then there is no hope for you.

Future Arcanes can be crafted from current BoE Mythics (The awakes and jewels could be kept or lost after crafting, upto the devs)

This way your gold isnt going down the drain when newer and better gears are eventually released.

OR
2) getting indigrient/recipe from locked crate to craft new arcane from mythic

Difference? in 2nd way you're loosing mythic item

The PvE maps will be more lively, the BoE equipments wont be useless when better gears are released, and devs will be making money from lockeds either way.

Its a win-win for everyone. Non-plat buyers can make money from farming the materials.

I like that thing about making farm more meaningful, but reality will be like: farmable part price will move to zero after short time (even if it will be tradeable), price of part from locked will be like price for new arc item itself. So just more hussle with all those crafts, and sure it will be like unnecessary 5-7 days craft.

Btw, how's farming shattered jewels atm? When they were really farmable (before luck system reworks), price of recipe was same as corrupt jewel (as I told above), now shattered jewels chance to drop is nearly 0, so farming them is not worth that, and those who open crates just getting useless recipe hard to sell, situation like both loose-loose (plat buyers and farmers)

There isn't any, and you won't see it. They intend to eliminate practically all the gold in circulation, because they want all the equipment you use to be unsellable, so you'll have to put money into it if you want to use it You might get some gold, but you'll still get scammed and won't get anything from what I'm seeing in the locks, not to mention the events where nothing decent drops.

I just came back after a year, and BOE feels weird.
I invest in gear for farming, but I can’t get my money back or progress from it. Gold farming also feels nerfed—are they just trying to burn players’ gold or sell plat items to unlock it? Just guessing.

It makes sense only if there is something to farm with the gear.

Now that they nerfed dunestride weapons there is nothing to really farm in the game.

During the 2 months wich dunestride weps were broken and expensive it was worth farming dune 1-6 using gold loot set on bosses to optimise your farm.

Now since dunestride is nowhere near blood it makes no sense to invest in blood to farm dunestride gear.

The best that can happen now before season 41 when they will release farmable mythic and arcane through arlor is events that are worth farming.
