Stop with the "Bound on Use"

Tell me how BoE doesn't result in this exact issue..?

1. Dune weapons came out.

2. People scared to buy, 100m each.

3. People found out they are decent.

4. Price sky rockets to 300m+.

5. Price keeps going up due to less farming maps and people know how decent they are.

I can see you rrly didnt keep up lately, prolly because you are inactive or idk why. Dune weps wasnt op, untill double proc thingy happened. Bow was *** untill we finally got haste on them.

It is rare loot. Not many people farm dune as they did when it was new map Main reasons:

1. They dont want to invest gold in gear.
2. They dont wanna sell vanity to buy gear so they can actually play the game.
3. They listen youtuber advices that tell them to cry and never invest gold in their gear (basically what u do) and wait untill things sort themselves out.




Dune is the only farmable map rn besides events, small amount of people farm it because they didnt invest in blood at first place (cuz some smart people told them krak is enough to leech on indigo runs)
Dune bow was 35 m while lets say dumb vanity like smash hand was 130m (ovp af but still was selling ez on auc). None was buying it.

Gear is an investment (not for merch or resale) it shud work same like tools, cars,trucks or for some even expensive PC in rl. Your Pc might be paid 4k and when you wanna sell it , irs worth 2k maybe, but if you earned 20k using it, it shouldnt bother you, am i right?

This Malzarek event is great example! ez 50-100m for 3 hour farm a day(loot still exp cuz start of event,alrdy today wont be so much profitable). But guess what? You need blood items to do it efficiently!
Many of my guildys that r geared earned 300m+ first night. What they got on them? 500m worth of gear max. Blood was smart investment for them no?

Got out you would have gotten billions by now.
Idc for gl farm, or any sort of farm , if i did trust me i would be grinding to find new farming meta instead of what some of you do rn. Its a game, not evry1 has to be op, rich, or look pretty, same as rl , not all of us are CEO, Presidents or Doctors. This aint different

Make these bound veil/new arcane items actually lootable from boss so you can either choose to lose money by buying them in the market or actually farm for them, using them, beeing able to play the new content…. don‘t know why its still not implented in the game. Of course dune weapons are good and lootable but you need crazy (expensive) items to actually farm for it…which makes the dune weapons useless again when you already have good gear…

Yeah that should be the next go to with this bound on equip system if they wanna do a pay to fast and not a pay to enjoy system.

you are basically telling me to invest 90m in armor + 360m in staff + 170m arti + 25m sb + 25m sb + 20m sb to farm an item which I dont need anymore to clear the content because I bought already these op expensive items? xd

While I do understand how annoying BoE can be for seasonals, it is soooo hilarious to see half of the Damned here whining about new players and other morality related issues. That alone justifies keeping this mechanic intact.
If you actually play the game, you don't want to sell your gear up until it's worthless anyways. Otherwise you get into a situation like this one:

here we see a dude complaining he can't do the event:

This boss need an op gears to be defeated, should we spend hundreds millions for gears to continue and play this event? Using kraken set and speed set items. Don’t have any gears left. Any idea to defeat this boss with easy way? Thanks!

Why should people not switch classes everyday if they wanna do that? I mean there are more possibilities than making one character and then farming on that for 12 years or less.

Plus if later on one class gonna be absolutely useless you just gonna keep playing on that one for years or make another one and try that out maybe you will like it even better.

And people often mix up complaining and expressing opinions, how would the developers know if something are not matching with what the majority of the player base thinks other than from players?

You have this philosophy of "If items bound on equip then people won't buy gears and the price will drop on them." it doesn't work like that. Our armors changed into a "consumable" item, once used its gone. Supply down demand up = Price go up up up.

Trying to justify the dune weapons increasing in price because no one is running the maps makes no sense. Those weapons were < 100m before people found out how good they can be, then they shot to 300m+. I would like to sell my dune set because I don't really enjoy the end game rn, I have been leveling alts up to 91 for fun.

Arti was only in 1 lock on bad event, its price will drop. Blood belt is most useless item and it was 200m when it came out. Also , again, dune weps were looted much more because evry1 played map when it was new and for aps. Now people dont. Thats the only reason for dune wep prices rn

I'm genuinely wondering how fixated on BoE one needs to be to make such a huge logical leap. There are countless instances of tradable underappreciated items suddenly spiking in price. Elemental amulets were tradable, yet they went from 100m to 300+ in a few weeks once people figured out how to use them.
BoE has nothing to do with this. Dune costs 300m cause there are plenty of people sitting on billions of gold. Very few people gonna sell "broken" item week after they acquired them.
Veil arti cost so much because they're the only bottleneck for people who want 3/3 veilblade set.

Bind on equip is just another poorly implemented WoW Classic feature. The difference is that in WoW you actually get to LOOT any content related item, not open lootboxes to get the best stuff. Says enough.

If you play since 2014 you understand what i mean, here example too, birthday event you see many low level farming arcanax dragon? Also when u open grand cake use there many alt too? Its just easy to have gold or to be rich in arcane legend.
When u buying gears/vanitys there is the right timing too, just keep playing u get what you want , stop complaining and enjoy the game as i said this game is a decade let's trust our dev. They are amazing in what they do.
