Preview - Winter 2025! Arlor's Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
A dragon stirs when the cold winds blow. Syrillax is back for another year, but her brood continues to grow, and with it, the threat to Frozen Hope. The residents of Frozen Hope have opened their gates to all Arlorian heroes willing to take up arms against the dragons.
The Winter Event runs for 3 weeks from 12/11 to 1/1, with a 3-day cooldown.
This is an Energy Event. Energy Essence drops everywhere in the realm, but the chances to loot are higher when fighting monsters at (or above) your level, and lower when fighting monsters below your level.

Notable differences week-by-week include:
+ A new and different Level 91 Mythic Veilblade Assassin accessory is available each week in event crates. Open crates during all 3 weeks to collect all 3.

Winter Gift Tree
Don't forget to visit the Winter Gift Tree in Frozen Hope every day during the event to collect gifts!

Mount Spyr
Kick off the Winter Event by entering the Mount Spyr Pass portal. Fight bosses and baddies, earn tokens, and loot items and chests.
Most importantly, snag the Weak Flamestones and open chests that drop in the zone to earn Icy Dragon Scales. These will be instrumental in defeating Syrillax's brood later on.
Brace yourself! A new Elite version of Mount Spyr Pass launches this winter. Enter with a friend and conquer this thrilling duo dungeon together.

Event Zone: The Brooding Grounds
Throughout the Winter Event, Syrillax's brood egg begins to stir, and all Arlorian heroes must gather to defeat it before it gets out of control!
The egg resides in the Brooding Grounds. Defeat the cracked egg and ensure what's inside doesn't leave those grounds. To enter, you must craft the Dragon Flamestones. When you enter the zone, one Dragon Flamestone will be removed from your inventory, the egg will hatch, and the fight will commence!

Gingerbrax will drop new loot each week (details below), so don't miss out!
A chilling new Elite version of The Brooding Grounds will also be available! Bring a friend and face Gingerbrax for your best chance at winter loot!

Boss Loot Summary
Winter's icy chill brings greater rewards. As you climb through tiers, levels, and higher difficulty, boss loot and gold loot improve. For the best odds of loot and gold, brave the Elite dungeons at level 91, Platinum Tier, empowered by the Farmer's Elixir!
For the more active farmers, you can purchase a special stash and trade-friendly hunter's elixir from the event vendor for 10 Platinum.
This elixir will provide 2x Boss Loot! Decreases the effects of frost damage, increases damage, movement speed, and gold loot in the Winter Event zones!
Elixir lasts for ten (10) minutes and only counts down in PvE.

Evil Elf Set
The Evil Elf Set has arrived for winter! A new level 91 item set!
There are eight pieces in total, obtainable through drops, token purchases, and crafted recipes. Complete the set before the season is over!
Evil Elf weapons (Daggers, Shield, and Staff): Standard attacks reduce the target's Crit Chance by 25% and apply an additional 25% Crit Damage debuff in PvP. Charged attacks reduce the target's Crit Chance by 50% and apply an additional 50% Crit Damage debuff in PvP.
4 items equipped bonus: Chance to summon the "Elven Ice Storm" aura for seven (7) seconds when dealing damage. This aura freezes lesser monsters for five (5) seconds. Bosses and Minibosses lose 75% movement speed for five (5) seconds. PvP opponents lose 25% movement speed for five (5) seconds.
8 items equipped: Gives you +35% Primary Stat, +35% Speed (stacking), +30% Health, +30% Mana, +30% Armor, +30% Damage (stacking), +20% Haste, +20% Critical Hit Damage.
When the 8/8 Set is active: Charged attacks from Evil Elf weapons apply *FATAL FROST* to frozen minions killing them instantly!
Charged Evil Elf weapons also apply a 75% armor debuff and a 75% damage debuff to Bosses and Minibosses for five (5) seconds.
PvP opponents are afflicted with 25% armor debuff and 25% damage debuff for five (5) seconds.
Winter Vendor
When you beat bosses and complete quests in the Winter Event zones, you'll earn Frozen Hope Tokens. These can be exchanged in the quest hub for valuable items!

Frosted Downs (Winter Racing)
We've added the Frosted Downs racing portal to Winter this year! At Bronze Tier, visit A.J. in Frozen Hope to get started. Joining is simple! Head through the portal (no energy required!) and select a cart to race. Each race is three (3) laps around the track. Collect respawning boosts and Hustle Buck tokens along the track as you go, but beware of ice traps! Hitting a patch of ice will cause you to lose control temporarily. You'll collect additional tokens at the end of the race. The better you place, the more tokens you'll receive:
First Place gets 25 Bonus Hustle Bucks (plus whatever you've collected during the race)
Second Place gets 15 Bonus Hustle Bucks (plus whatever you've collected during the race)
Third Place gets 10 Bonus Hustle Bucks (plus whatever you've collected during the race)
Fourth Place gets 5 Bonus Hustle Buck (plus whatever you've collected during the race)
Controls:
Accelerate: 'Gas' Pedal, or SPACE on web
Steer: Left/Right buttons/keys or joystick
