WC 2026 Jersey

Hello,

With the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup being organized by 3 countries, and the US as co-host (some matches even in Texas :-)), I wanted to share an idea related to football (soccer, of course :-)), my favorite sport.

I would like to suggest the following: Armor Vanity Jersey mini-event.

Concept:
- Mini-event where players can obtain a blank jersey via platinum (trade-friendly), the only way to get it into the game.
- Players participating in mini-event collect tokens and loot from bosses (event elixir increases odds).
- A vendor allows customisation of bound jersey: Jersey number (1 – 11), a few color options (up to your choice), player’s IGN printed above the number

Bosses drop:
- ball furniture,
- ball badge
- title
- tokens

How it works (example for a platinum buyer):
- Plat buyer buys the jersey armor vanity with platinum, can sell it or stash it.
- Plat buyer equips it (it becomes BoE vanity).
- Vendor is available only to player wearing bound jersey armor vanity (trade-friendly jerseys cant be edited). While wearing jersey, the player can set number, color, and his own IGN (no random names allowed) for tokens. This ensures players cannot put a different IGN on someone else’s jersey, or sell their jersey after editing.

I know football/soccer theme may not perfectly match setting of AL, but it would be cool to create my own jersey with my IGN, preferred color & number on the back, and the AL logo on the front.

love the idea, there’s still plenty of time to make it happen
just use generic wording, logos or mascots so it doesn’t raise copyright concerns

Sorry, we'd have to create a system for customizable appearances for items and there are no plans at this time.

I did want to do something similar for banners for the top guild (leader could customize), but that's at the bottom of a lengthy todo list.

Might be able to meet somewhere in the middle with a handful of premade recolors 'jersey armor' (main/trim) similar to the marvelous helms/armors.

better than nothing as long as you keep the theme in a way, to make jersey in somewhat football style
