It's early days, wouldn't expect a "race" so early in development.
Still trying to comprehend how 2k+ can die from Barrels O.o
I agree with Bod, I don't think it would even be good to have one at the moment, it's only the first level cap update.

I think the fox and rhino race has left a bitter taste in the mouths of some of STS' customers; it would be good judgment on their part to leave the 'racing' in PL, and not bring the controversy to their new game.
Besides the elixers aren't really a huge selling point in AL, it's the faux gambling through the founders chests that is making the money right now. Perhaps this will change at later levels though.

Speaking of Pocket Legends I went to visit there after not logging in for about 1 1/2 - 2 years and I really hope AL doesn't turn into what PL is. Logging into PL left a very bad taste in my mouth it looks nothing like the game I fell in love with when it came out.
Not only that but the whole having to puchase in Plat your runs and winter runs?!?! Really ?
I think they learned their lesson though from PL, SL, and especially DL
AL - AGROCRAG - My guess is 12,345
AL level caps are coming every 6 to 8 weeks per STS in a recent interview. Charges that people will get bored are less founded regarding AL than other STS games.
If people don't want to spend plat on racing, don't spend plat on racing. Plenty of others enjoy the thrill of the race.

You don't need a race in the world wide races. You can simple race against a friend or sponsor a guild race to cap if sts doesn't sponsor one.
That's like minor league. Players made contests are kind of fail.
