Any game suggestion that can replace AL nostalgia addiction?

I sat and flipped through the PlayStation store one day and downloaded games to see if I could find anything fun, and I did. That was after getting that feeling that maybe games aren’t fun to me anymore, also. The indie games were great for that.

There are actually Reddit posts about this exact subject. Unfortunately even there no one has found a game that scratches that AL itch. Although AL doesn't scratch that itch anymore either its just not what it used to be...

I have play from 2016 to 2025 and at some point i have really start to feel the same way, so i have try many until i try Diablo Immortal, really hit the hack & slash need in me xd, yes its pay to win but not more than here, also i feel its is lot less gambling, and most importantly when u invest some money at least it really boost your progression and you dont lose it all after some new upgrade or cap.

But i need to say that Arcane Legends have really been my best game for many years, just sad that it change so much that it really make me lose the fun i had playing it

I played diablo immortal aswell.
This game is dope.
The only downside is that it is heavily pay to win but the content is there and once you pay you can compete.

New information is constantly able to be obtained and is extremely interesting. Addictive.
- Modded Minecraft mod packs
- Borderlands franchise
- Dungeon Defenders 2 / Awakened
Thia game is really close to AL in some aspects.

Games that you make friends in and talk crap to each other in discord while having fun and dominating other teams with your team.
Casual / random.

Games that are very community active, easy to pickup and play, simple, and can have many hobbies.

get a world of warcraft subscription if you can - thats a real solid mmo (the og top tier), one that a lot of early arcane takes inspiration from. because you pay to play, pay to win is restricted to mostly qol stuff. in game loot is actually better and usable in game. it still has some issues as AL mostly related to market but not half as bad as here lol.

B4b was a huge let down tbh, wwz never tried. I do still play l4d2 these days in competitive mode, tier 1 only, 4v4 no medkit, tank every chapter. Tournys are very fun.

Unfortunately no game can replace Og 2012-2016 arcane legends nostalgia. I’ve already searched the whole internet for it, we won’t get that feeling back guys i’m sorry. I’m also just sad that AL changed so much, it was way better when things were simpler.
