    I still don’t feel reward matches effort. Even if run is fast, it requires constant high focus and perfect execution just to stay efficient. This makes farm feel exhausting rather than engaging. My activity has dropped from hours a day to just 7–10 runs before I feel drained and log off, because gold return doesn't justify level of intensity.

    There’s something that WoW did, which is to do WoW classic. The reason that’s interesting though was because they overcompensated for their desire to bring new content into the game. I never realized what that entailed before. Apparently, there was content at the launch of that game which was no longer available to play. Fortnite did the same thing, so there’s a theme there. I remember for Fortnite, they had one map on the island. Then they had this cutscene where everyone online at the time saw the old island go away, and a new one was put into its place.

    That’s something people complain about in Arcane Legends, wanting to bring back nostalgia. I wonder if what they really mean though, is that the novelty of the old maps is wearing off. A pain point is that unless you’re close to max level, when you’re trying to level up, there is nobody in the map with you, which makes leveling a chore. Taking away a couple of the worlds is a way to solve that, like removing the Brackenridge and Ydra maps entirely, because it reduces the number of places anyone can be at once. It seems extreme, but you can’t deny the success of the other games doing the same thing.

    Back then you could play the game with items you dropped. Now you drop items only to fill your inventory.

    Map pacing was okey back then even with the speed sets you did a map in like 2-5 min with a full party. Now you do everything solo in 45 sec once you get the broken arcane gear from locked.

    Back then leveling up was meaningfull even if it was hard reaching lvl 41 was great. Now it is just about how many levels will i be able to skip using élixirs and playing on x2 xp days because level 91 is just too many levels that we wanna skip. Here the zone removal would help a lot by squishing the levels aswell like they did in world of Warcraft too.

    We know the system feels overwhelming and inconsistent. While no system can perfectly match individual preferences, we are actively reviewing Awakening pools and generosity.
    About this i dont know if posible buutt
    Stay with me u can maybe just let awakening as it is and add somthing like
    How to say this.. you know for exmple
    An item has 1-4 slots for awakening
    Maybe u can do so we can awake each slot individualy and and a heart to it so it doesnt change on next awake that would be wonderfull
    And i think will wel recived buy the game comunity
    Just an idea but that would solve our awakenig problems ty for read and mayne reply hope y devs see this post

    Can we get a weapon for mages to do curses x20. Seem pretty unfair others classes can reach boss with blood gears while mages still stuck on first mob.

    I don't like this, It would literally broken the game, everyone having perfect awaks, so no,
    game it's already unbalanced to add more unbalanced things

    Maybe we can awake one slot by itself than the other 3 change together ? Just an idea. I feel like it would balance more the awakening system. Today for example I used 30 - Yes THRITY- arcane awakenings and I got only ONE legendary awake, the rest were all rare and epic. Honestly nowadays it’s mostly awake to loose gamble.

    Btw, I know 30 is not a lot at all, I just feel like at least 1 out of every 2 awakes (with arcane) should give at least one legendary stat.

    Default Community Poll

    After reading the 2026 letter, it’s nice to see more transparency and some course corrections.

    One idea that could help going forward is adding simple, non-binding community polls to help guide priorities. Not for exact balance numbers, but for direction.

    Things like:

    - What area should be focused on next (endgame, QoL, new players, seasonal content)

    - What feels most frustrating about certain systems (awakenings, inventory slots, gold sinks)

    - What kinds of rewards feel most motivating (vanity, pets, jewels)

    Even something small, like a poll every few months or tied to big system changes, could help catch issues earlier and make players feel more involved.

    Just a thought.

    Select events in 2026 will once again feature trade-friendly LB rewards, starting with the upcoming Twilight Temple event. Fully removing them did more harm than good, and we’re adjusting course.

    Leaderboard Vanity Rewards Are Returning
    Winning LB should come with a visible mark of distinction. Vanity rewards for major events are coming back in 2026. You may not love every design but they’re back.

    Areas Under Active Review

    Awakenings

    We know the system feels overwhelming and inconsistent. While no system can perfectly match individual preferences, we are actively reviewing Awakening pools and generosity.

    Achievements / AP
    Some recent APs tied to gold sinks and purchase-friendly power have drawn criticism. As part of upcoming Seasonal LB changes, we are reviewing point values and economic balance.

    Duneveil Difficulty
    Elite Duneveil will be harder. Standard Duneveil will be made easier. Boss fights will remain demanding, but the base campaign will be more accessible to casual players.

    New Players, F2P, and Inventory Slots
    Slot availability has real downsides in its current form. In 2026 we plan to make slots more widely available to free-to-play players, including a re-examination of the Story Token economy.

    What’s Staying

    Bind on Equip

    BoE is staying. Some powerful items will remain bound but not everything good will be BoE. Many upcoming chase items will be trade-friendly.

    PvP
    We respect the passion of PvP players but PvP is not a core progression pillar of Arcane Legends and will not receive major reworks.

    Looking Ahead

    We are actively planning a complete overhaul of the Seasonal Character Leaderboard system to become an opt-in experience with its own economy, progression, lootable power items, and standout vanity rewards. Details coming soon!

    More content is on the way: Duneveil Elites are scheduled to release this Summer. You can also look forward to an exhilarating 'Cursed' content coming to Duneveil this Fall.

    Last but not least we have finally decided to put effort into advertising and promoting Arcane Legends with a new marketing initiative before the end of 2026.

    no spending a lot of gold or plat isn’t “for profit” it’s to enhance your f2p experience
