Extreme Hardcore LB

New hardcore mode with these restrictions in addition to the current hardcore mode:
- plat usage is disabled
- solo mode
- death is permanent, no revival

Purpose: provide grounds for "honor" style hardcore competition that would allow anyone to participate and compete in equal conditions.

I know it was suggested before and was turned down as it lacks of monetization opportunities (so does honor pvp) but maybe this time around sts will change their mind.

I am myself is a veteran player and long time one of the top hc guys and would like to hear what my fellas think.

It's just that this will seem brutal in terms of item farming and so on. Plus, with no revival, there will definitely be complaints about this in the future if it's actually created.
Given all these conditions, it will be difficult. Players' interest is limited to just trying it out, and then, like Honor PvP, it's abandoned.

You're requesting something without considering that if that were to happen, they could perform a general reset of hardcore mode, deleting all the Aps for everyone and then start over as you say. That would be the most sensible thing to do. Analyze what you're saying carefully.

If I were an STS, I'd reset everyone and start with the new rules you're requesting.

It is meant to be in addition to existing hardcore mode. Just another more restricted mode with its own LB.

Sorry, no plans to do this considering the percentage of hardcore characters that exists now.

existing hardcore mode is a huge pay to win and that fences off most of the players so I thought removing plat requirement could bring in more people.
