After the release of the Letter to the Community, I was genuinely pleased to finally see positive news and direction for this game. However, I strongly believe there is one critical issue that urgently needs to be reviewed for the benefit of both the players and the game itself which is the banning system.
I've been playing Arcane Legends since 2013, and over the years I have witnessed and experienced many stories from friends and fellow players who were banned under questionable circumstances. The most popular one is when players who had not logged in for years suddenly returned only to find their accounts permanently banned, without any clear or relevant explanation. This has happened not just to one individual, but to many cases
Another common case involves players being accused of exploiting simply because they actively trade or do business with others, especially through merchant-style gameplay. Some were banned for being considered “associated with exploiters.” The concern here is : how is an ordinary player supposed to know whether someone they trade with in Paradise or Expedition Camp is an exploiter? Normal buying and selling should not be grounds for punishment without clear proof of intent or wrongdoing.
The third issue involves account sharing accusations related to device or location changes. I know players who sometimes logged into Arcane Legends from their workplace or a different location and were banned days later for alleged account sharing. This raises serious concerns — is it actually forbidden to access the game from different places or devices? If so, this rule needs to be clearly communicated, as it currently does not make sense from a player’s perspective.
At times, ordinary players feel that the rules are unreasonable or inconsistently enforced. This frustration is one of the main reasons many long-time players choose to quit. I firmly believe that if the banning system were reviewed, improved, and made more transparent, many players would be willing to return and continue supporting the game.
I sincerely hope the development team will consider review the current banning policies for the long-term health of Arcane Legends and its community.
Best regards,
A concerned long-time player
