    Hello everyone,

I am writing this post after coming across an Arcane Legends video from 13 years ago while browsing YouTube. Having played this game almost since its launch, that video brought back a flood of memories: the massive player base, the unique atmosphere, the challenges, the friendships, and the intense competition of the early days.

As we all know, the game's activity is declining day by day. New players are scarce, and many veterans have left either due to bans or a general loss of interest. It seems the developers have recognized this trend, as they recently announced new decisions for 2026.

I have a question for you all: What if the game started over from Level 16? What if all the overly flashy, "neon" items were removed in favor of better graphics, improved animations, and redesigned maps? What if the game received a complete overhaul or a major rework?

The game has aged and lost its momentum, yet its core remains "golden." I still enjoy playing it, but that simple, nostalgic feeling is long gone. I understand that innovation is necessary and games must evolve; we cannot stay in the past forever. However, don't you think the recent updates have felt uninspired? We see repetitive events every year, "recolored" pets, and graphics that, while charming in their anime style, feel outdated for the current era. Furthermore, disproportionate gold drops have damaged the economy, and excessive P2W (pay-to-win) content has alienated the community.

The decline in player numbers clearly shows that recent changes haven't quite hit the mark. It seems even the developers, who have followed a heavy P2W policy for years, have realized this, as they are now looking into reducing P2W elements and focusing on advertising. I understand that the developers need to generate revenue, but the player base has felt neglected for a long time. I remember when admins used to roam the maps and chat with us; now, I can't even remember the last time I saw one.

To the developers: Why not take a leap of faith and release Arcane Legends 2? If building a brand-new game is too costly, why not transform the existing game by stripping away the unnecessary clutter and focusing on that old-school simplicity? We want that 2012-2014 atmosphere with just a bit more polish—smoother animations and more detailed graphics.

To the community: I am not suggesting that everyone's hard work should go to waste. I am sure a way could be found to preserve the efforts of current players. I don't want anyone to lose what they've earned. I simply miss the days when players didn't look like "RGB keyboards," where it was easy to make friends, and where every map was buzzing with activity. I want that competitive and fun environment back.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to read this. Happy gaming, Arcane Legends family!

Start from scratch yet people can port stuff over? That logic wont work already xD they've already issued a letter to the community! There will be something like what you suggested but it runs along side with the game. I think once this game gets more advertising, gains new players, and gets more content it will be great again!

I get the nostalgia, but those 'flashy things' are one of reasons the lights are still on and we can even post on this forum.

I agree with you about the point regarding new players; the game is not friendly to new players.
