Is Elemental damage now equal to standard damage (Primary Status Int/str/dex) ?

Is Elemental damage now equal to standard damage (Primary Status Int/str/dex) ?

Before you needed a weapon that did elemental damage to benefit from the elemental damage stat.

Now, elemental damage increases your overall damage as well.
