Current state of the game .

Came back to the game , accounts banned for no reason . Devs removed character slot , auction slot and inventory slot from story token vendor . Late game is about spending money just to kill the mobs . They removed legendary items from starter kits . Anyone here has a reason to play the current game ? Serious question .

As an OG player
The current state of the game is so sad .
Its is all out pay to be able to kill mobs . Back in the days it was pay to win in pvp .
Now you have to spend plats on the game just to be able to run some late game maps .
Devs removed character slots , inventory slot , auction slots from story token vendor .
Devs removed legendary gears from starter kits .
Character stats at lvl 91 are too high .
Would love to see pvp mode comeback as a pay to win mode while pve should be played by everyone . Full revamp on pvp would solve a lot of problems .
Also al content creators should receive prizes so they would advertisement the game .
Would love to see some tutorials for new players , because i dont see any .

some of the things they removed are now handed out as daily log on rewards
legendary gear is still given out

saying “revamp pvp” is vague, do you have specifics?

rewarding content creators is a terrible idea when some don’t know much about the game & give bad info but do love to advertise themselves

Dont tell em you dont know sts made a moba game and has more games than arcane legends .. i trust in their imagination more than mine.

im not an "og" but i started quite early and have seen the game evolve through the years. i second your point - the state of the game today is brutal; its an uphill battle on all fronts be it gear, inventory management, pets, etc. BUT, heres what im gonna say and it'll sound strange at first but once you think about it, hopefully it should make sense.

all these changes the devs have done over the years have been to combat over-exploitation of certain game aspects for insurmountable benefits. the endless alt accounts, passing around the same extremely busted op gear between accounts, grinding events on all alts (you got players with 5+ alts all scoring in top lb spots) and then circling around those rewards for high margins. then you got price manip of items skyrocketing, game mechanics like awakenings driving up markets even more, multiple set swaps via hotbars, etc. etc. is it bad or wrong or unethical? not at all - they're just using what the game is offering. but this results in a select few folks or groups of em having the capability to influence the game's aspects on a macroscopic level.

every stop gap the devs added - be it limiting slots to new accounts, taking away items from token vendors, the trade badge thing, gold nerfs, even making lb rewards untradable for a brief period of time, the maps and monsters/boss balancing - have all been efforts to curb these behaviors. but people have always found ways around the stop gaps so devs end up making decisions that are super unpopular and often at the detriment of a certain class of players.

im a completely f2p player and the game has been overwhelming to play a lot of times because the drastic changes the devs introduce, but ultimately its a product/business theyve poured - and are still pouring - their own time and resources, which means they're also trying their best to balance it out and make it better for everyone. nobody wants to lose their business, but sometimes **** happens and you're just forced to play your hand - whatever that may be.

thats just my two cents man. though i totally feel you. the old magic of AL is long gone, barely any of the older players play any more, the community aspect is dead, core features are alienating at worst divisive at best - what can you do eh. its our decision if we choose to stick around. good luck.

Devs have promised that in the next season several changes will come, introducing new maps, new skills, bringing useful legendary items, some nice and useful items farmeable, fixing plat, fixing lockeds, fixing awakening system and a lot more but when it will be released? who knows , we just know that in the next season they will made some changes.

The problem is that there’s no content. You get every 2 years 5 new maps. Then it takes 2 years till the gear for these maps is released. That means when the full Gear is there for the expansion, the new one is only a week ahead. You have no grind system. Your only grind is gold and with gold you can buy everything. Theres no hard grind about 0.01% drop chances for better gear or special improvement buffs/ items. It’s just a grind for gold to buy the new vanity’s. It’s repetitive and sucks. New auras, vanity’s, badges, titles and pets are no content but nice to see.

Over the years now its noticeable that there’s no work put into new maps or bosses neither mechanics. Every major event is a copy paste from 2018 or older. A lot of things have been announced and promised but never implemented.
