1 pet egg=1 evo shard of same rarity? @asommers @cinco
I get that we want to protect play buyers that sell shards they buy for plat, but 100hero/arc shards we usually sell for 13-17m (viable prices,not ones that expire on auc)
So , 100 arc eggs at 350k each is 35m for 100 shards if it is 1-1 ratio, shouldnt events help us and make some things more available? Atleast put 5- 10 shards per egg(trying not to be greedy) , i know many wud want 20-50 but 5-10 seems reasonable , it will increase pet eggs prices for people who need to sell them and get gold, people who want to craft shards will get shards cheaper then auction, and plat buyers will still have profits after the event is done, since crafted shards arent tradable.

- does grasping stone stack with winter gl set pickup radius?
- can you please remove arcanite bar from arcanite pet chest recipe? There are not many around as few farm old maps
- does 2x boss loot work in this event?
- does luck help to reroll better eggs?

1:1 Evo shard conversion is too bad - you need hundreds of shards to evolve just one pet. We get it, you gotta make money, but 1:1 is prohibitively low.

I'm amazed at ways you can monetise an event that was meant to be a free for all egg loot drop once upon a time

This time Im gonna side w the devs . . . Where are they monotizing?
“ALL egg types drop for free” and we can craft up without using plat.

There were just too many eggs that players *might* want to craft - we decided to go with crafting chests that are free to open and give you an egg of that specific rarity.

Will the elixir affect the rarity or better odds of dropped eggs?

No. The Elixir does nothing to affect your loot chance. It gives you additional damage, gold loot, and helps you deal with some of the minions (if you are not already super-OP), but it doesn't affect Pet Egg loot.

hope in the upcoming events we will get a solar damage stone. like for 5-10 solar dmg

This is unlikely since that jewel already exists in Duneveil content.

They're looking for any way to squeeze money out of the players. If that's the case, it's a terrible event, and on top of that, it only lasts a week, while the current one, which is only two weeks long, is garbage.

Make the garbage events longer. Got it.

In this pet rescue, can we craft specific pets or not, just like the first pet rescue?

Not this time. Since 2022 (when I first designed this event) we have released tons of desirable eggs. I think the chest method is going to be the most fair approach.

Too late to add pet egg badge? The blue & pink ones are sooooo cute lol. Maybe green or purple now?

is pilfa a hardcore friendly boss? or is it one of the bosses that can 1 hit you?

NO! Pilfa will absolutely murder your HC... and that's if you somehow manage to get to her. It's more likely your HC will die from the Ghost Bruiser red zones. BE CAREFUL!

You should remove the required Arcanite Bar for Arcanite Egg crafting and replace it with something people actually have.

There are actually quite a lot of these out there. They aren't something that literally everybody has in bulk but there are enough to make this work.

With all due respect, I am curious to know what specifically you think is worse about Pet Rescue. I feel it is better and a lot more f2p. Egg'zavier drops an Egg once per encounter in the world, then you have to purchase an elixir to enter his dungeon to loot him again. Pet Rescue is free to enter as often as you like and you get to loot four (4) times per run (once each time you open one of the three cages and each time you defeat the boss).

It should. Nothing prevents it from stacking with other pickup radius buffs.

Also about the sunstrike stone (it's a stone so it's not removable) did anyone look into this? They're nowhere to be found. People can't loot them from locked crates or campaign maps. There should be an abundance of those since we've got all this new solar based gear.

Since the whole leadup to this event is that it is designed to be ftp friendly, should that not also resonate with making it hc friendly. Hopefully u can reconsider as many of us hc drop $$$ on e regular basis for locked chests etc etc. Ty in advance for reconsidering on our account����


Lastly could you add to the Evolution shard crafting something similar to the egg chest crafting; Im thinking like 10 leg shards for a mythic, 10 mythic for an arcane and 10 arcane for a heroic shard.

This is correct.

We do not plan to adjust this ratio. We believe that there will be plenty of Eggs to make it worthwhile.

Since the whole leadup to this event is that it is designed to be ftp friendly, should that not also resonate with making it hc friendly.

Apologies if I sounded like I was being sarcastic. I was not; I was trying to very directly set expectations and limit misunderstanding.

That said, I also know how brave and how cavalier my HC community can be. Indeed... you might be fine. I just think you need to be very, very careful. Pilfa kills. Ghost pirate marksmen summon a shield that will slow you and damage you. Ghost pirate bruisers will summon a charged 'sea storm' attack that will outright assassinate you if you aren't at full health. The elixir helps a bit but it won't save your life if you get hit by a combo of minion shield, red zone and boss attacks.

Uhm, not to come of as rude, but you do realize we theoritically need 540 heroic eggs to evolve just one heroic pet to tier 7 right?
And 680 arcane eggs for the tier 7 arcane pet

Not rude at all! I appreciate how this looks from your perspective.

The Pet Rescue event was never meant to include any Pet Evo content - let alone become an event where your main pet shoots up 6 Evo tiers via loot alone.

In fact, I indicated in this thread: https://www.spacetimestudios.com/sho...t-Rescue-Event that I was not going to include any Pet Evolution stuff in the Pet Rescue event.

Nevertheless the requests did keep coming, and I eventually (yesterday) decided to give in and provide a little something for the Evo player - and that is where we are.

I am committed to keeping the Pet Evo content in the event, but I want it to remain minimal. Eggs are going to fall like rain, and I expect players to gain a Tier (maybe two) from the Egg/Shard conversion content.

Absolutely not crafting with evolution shards. The shards and trainers should have been added to the loot table. I don’t need eggs. Disappointed. Probably won’t be doing this event.

One more question my good guy, will we ever see pet egg ability combo's again? Similar to gobbie/ellie (next one i can't remember). This was ahead of its time, something like this in 2026 would be soo cool
