Question about solar damage

What does solar damage scale with? Does stats matter? What is BD and ED? Crit and crit damage? Please, pro players, tell me what does solar damage scale with?

From my limited testing:
scales with damage (kinda weird tho) with only dot proc i do less dmg.
If i use aqua proc (500%dmg i think) i do less damage than with blood staff proc (200%)
Crit and crit damage is very important, solar dot crits hit extremly hard.
I had more damage with +10 solar dmg than 10% critdmg or 7% all stat.

Edit: tested again with aqua. Dot is higher than with blood staff proc

Same 10 solar damage would upgrade my damage by 4m (tic) when 20 BD will do absolutely no improvement.
This is the most surprising discovery i made.

they're equally important, if your base solar damage is 200 and you slot in a solar stone (15% solar damage) you get extra 30 solar damage. So more solar damage you have, more effecient the solar % is, and vice versa.

i do have 450 solar dmg ( total ) with a 80% solar boost

I don't remember i uninstalled. Just had veil chain helm armor belt AA and SB 3/3 on the other pieces with 3 of those solar chemist stones.
