I like it the way it is now, the token Birthday sheilds will be account bound, so they can't resell them anyway.
The event lasts for 3 whole weeks, you have lots of time to grind for the tokens. It is free if you grind for it.
The trade friendly ones are a rare drop and as they should be from the bosses.

The account bound ones can’t, but the dropped ones will definitely be hoarded down the line. These shields aren’t like vanities where it doesn’t matter if a handful of individuals have them. For 40-45 to be playable they are 100% mandatory to have. If you don’t have one then you can’t compete, therefore you cannot play. I’ve seen the best PvP players get stomped by opponents just because of the stat difference it offers compared to everything else. Where’s L40 Valentine Blackheart shields tends to rival or be slightly better than plat and OG shields, The L40 Cake Shields/9 Year HBD rivals tends to rival shields we see in 51-56.Originally Posted by Fwend
This is why they cannot be rare. Those who don’t have them will either have to ask themselves if it’s worth spending possibly 100M to 200M+ on a shield at 40, wait annually to try and farm their own, or just leave for an entire separate but cheaper PvP zone which may not have the playerbase that 40 has.

Given how many have dropped already, less than a day into a 3 week event, it seems like there will be plenty of them available without adjusting anything.
There would be 200+ of the trade friendly L40 ones in circulation if people continue to play at the same rate.
Can we get higher exp orbs like 5k or 10k dropped from bosses or a higher drop rate from 1k-3k orbs. The level experience for low levels/ new players without any decent gear is rough lol so leveling to 115 really fast would be great.
In the event when ever I'm trying to train the mobs I get sniped one shotted I don't know if this is normal but getting insta killed from 15 feet away is weird.
Loving the event so far! The loot is good, but I have a small complaint about the loot table. There are so many worthless things that players literally delete, like the 1.5x damage elixir. I would love to see it removed from the loot table. Other than that, the event is good!

Could we please have gold stashes updated to reflect the current gold economy? At least the high rarity ones... arcane rarity giving 50k and mythic giving 35k is just criminal😬
@futumsh Can you see drop numbers for specific items? If so can you please confirm with us that the new Blood Stained Talon was added to the boxes or how many have already dropped? I don't think a single one has dropped yet which is unusual for rare Crate drops in the past (like Green ghost wings, Dragkon shield, Tee's before they got nerfed, Viridian egg before it got nerfed, Dracula the impaler etc.). It would be nice to see it listed in the description for the Birthday Box
Just to reiterate I am not asking for you to nerf the drop rate and make it less rare. Just wanted to confirm it's in there for myself and the community haha... If so you made it perfect. Seem's like maybe it's a 1 in 10,000 crates drop type item. Love it

It's in there (locked version only), just as rare as it was requested to be, and noone has been lucky enough to get it as of yet.
You ROCK Futumsh. Last question about the birthday boxes. Me and some players swore past years had the same crates named "Birthday Box". We did some digging and it looks like the 2024/2025 birthday boxes were renamed to "2023 Birthday Box". Can you confirm this is the case? I want to make sure that when we buy "Birthday Boxes" from the Cs they aren't from 2025 and 2024.... Is it possible to put a 2026 in front of them?

The newest one is just called 'Birthday Box'. Any with that name are the new ones.
The old one got its original year added. That one was used from 2023 to 2025.

can we get easier lobbies for solo? sometimes it gets hard to find a full group or maybe a force start for 3 people at least instead of hosting a private and less mobs would be nice in solo at least until round 10.
