Plat forging
Could plat forging be made more rewarding? Right now most players still prefer using gold to forge, so the plat option feels unnecessary. If plat forging had slightly better luck percentages then it has or unique advantages, it would give players who are willing to spend platinum a real reason to use it. This could also benefit the game by giving another meaningful use for platinum while helping players reach higher luck percentages.
I agree that platinum in forging should be more rewarding, but I don't think it should be used for better forge odds. Doing so would basically push the game toward pay-to-win, which would undermine the current gameplay a lot. The plat option is likely there so players who prefer paying instead of grinding gold still have the option to forge, albeit in a rather impractical way. That said, I agree it's unnecessary at this point and should be given a different use.
Instead of better luck rates, platinum could be used to restore the previous forge result. Right now, if you’re spam forging and overwrite a better roll, there’s no way to go back and it feels awful. A small platinum cost to revert the last forge would make the system feel much less punishing without making it pay-to-win.

I’m just saying that’s probably how the devs intended it to work: giving a paid option alongside the grind. The problem is it doesn’t really have a meaningful use in its current state, so yeah, I agree it should be reworked into something more useful -- just not by making it give better odds.
