It's subjective; the thing is, people liked those unusual, overpowered pet drops from egg zavier,
but if you think about it, you can get them by crafting them, and in a more efficient or effective way. And who knows, maybe you'll even get an arcane or heroic one while farming mythic pets.
That said, it doesn't mean I don't enjoy seeing things on screen that attract you when something good falls into your lap. It's a gacha, but these aren't the same events.
In my opinion, this event is excellent for new and mid-level players without elixirs (because eggzavier always needed-drama back),
for veterans like us, the crafting zone is more than adequate. And even more so if you've saved up 200-500 mythical pets—it's already said enough...
Even better, make it an exclusive drop from the elixir.

The drop rate with and without elixir remains practically nonexistent; I don't see anyone getting an arcane or heroic item. At least reduce the crafting time for pet chests.

we need a better way to craft these evolution shards for example let us pick multiple eggs we want to craft into shards instead one by one. Also how is it justified that we get only ONE heroic shard for ONE heroic egg? They barely drop and cost millions while I can just buy hundreds shard for like 12m. And dont tell me we are supposed to craft these heroic eggs to get heroic shards because thats even worse.

I dropped one arcanite garlic from first cage room without elix after like 50 runs xD
So far im liking the event, what im not liking however is seeing everyone and their friend say they haven't gotten 1 arc in hours , I dont have issues with reroll so far as other have stated but it would be nice to get a timer reduction on the pet chests as well as a higher drop rate also the event elixer not improving rates doesn't make any sense , it only helps players that dont have gear , however the majority of players that use elixes are geared end game and as such dont need them
It's so weird, everyone's complaining that I've played for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 1000 hours, but I haven't seen a heroic pet yet. Come on, this game has been a grinding game from the start. So, if the drop rate is good and heroic eggs are plentiful, what would you say next? Would you say, "Heroic siege eggs are very rare, please increase the drop rate". I think that sentence will come out. If you want to make gold, just craft arcane pet chests and sell them. Not all events will meet your expectations and desires.
Legendary Emberheart egg is missing from legendary chest, (and boss?)
If you die then Disconnect you spawn back in alive.
Sometimes the cages won't open even though all mobs are dead.
Summoning scrolls exist or we've been trolled?
Drop rate needs a buff, also found a bug where gates dont always open even though all mobs have been killed and cages opened, happened twice in the hour I ran.

They certainly drop (and people have reported drops in this thread). We'll take a look at the data after the dust has settled. You can always craft egg chests as well.
Elixirs mostly help with hazard damage. We've moved away from needing an elixir to get better loot.

Sorry, no plans to do this. You can obtain one from the auction house, via trade, or gathering in Vardan Valley.
The ratio will stay 1:1, but I can certainly see being able to craft a pack using more eggs.
It does look like Emberheart is missing (I'll need to verify she's not exclusive). We'll review the loot tables for missing eggs.
The cage issue has been fixed for the next server (content) update.
Elixir description has been fixed if you patch (log out and log back in).

I think it’s already common sense that players will have complaints when something is wrong with the event drops. All the promises of reworks and improvements ended up meaning nothing, in fact it feels like things got worse.
And why does crafting a heroic chest now require an arcanite egg? that doesn’t feel like an improvement at all, it just made getting heroic eggs harder. Some players have gone back running dune for gl farming, coz they feel the event isn't worth running and not rewarding enough.
Somebody invest a Mill in sts so we can get better stuff.
You found a way to make the event unenjoyable for those who do not have those stupid arcanite bars.
The best way to make people enjoy it if you wanted to separate arcanite eggs from arcane eggs was to juste make 5 arcane craftable into arcanite or heroic.
My luck feels so useless rerolling for Barney's egg is wild.
