Redesigning Guild Leaderboard

I think a guild directory would be a better system than the current ranking system.

It could include:
- Guild name
- Guild master name
- Short guild description written by the leader
- Last season’s banner performance
- Current activity percentage

People could scroll through to see what type of guild it is — whether it’s casual, serious leaderboard runners, or region/language-specific guilds.

Somewhat interesting, but I don't like the description written by the leader part (we'd have to police it). If the short description wasn't a feature, we could have a guild directory on the forums that was updated once as week similar to the guild rankings.

Awesome, thats a good idea too. This is kind of what was behind my reasoning.

I was suggesting this as a replacement because the current system pushes guilds toward massive recruiting, which leads to a lot of spam messages and poaching just to stay competitive under the top 500 players logged in per week rule.

A directory system or something similar would reduce that pressure and shift things toward a more positive atmosphere. Imo, a strong guild is defined more by consistent activity and quality runners than just roster size.
