The PvP community invests heavily in Platinum, just as much as PvE players do, and we love this game just as much. However, PvP is dying because it is being ignored. It feels like the PvP community doesn't matter to you; every time a post is made, a moderator simply says "no."
It would be great if, at least once per season, there was a PvP update to balance things out. Here are some specific suggestions:
• Haste Cap: We need a cap on Haste in PvP. Right now, skill spamming is out of control, which removes skill from the equation and creates a massive gear gap.
• Pet Balancing: The Crypt and Ghost Crypt pets need nerfs. A 70% damage reduction is far too high. It would be beneficial to shift the meta occasionally by nerfing passives like Crypt's or introducing new PvP-focused pets each season, as most current pets are designed for PvE.
• Gear Availability: There is a constant lack of PvP gear. It takes years for new items to be added because updates are designed with PvE in mind. A clear example is the Blazing Chakrams, which appeared in one event and never returned. Furthermore, since people was banned/quit, very few remain in PvP zones.
• The Vorlish Stone: This was one of your best ideas—definitely a +1 from me.
New Proposals
Honor Ranked PvP:
To make PvP competitive and prevent cheating, you could:
• Implement phone number verification.
• Block same-IP queuing to prevent one person from entering the queue with two different accounts.
Malign Honor Tournaments:
Another option to make PvP competitive and bring players back is hosting Malign Honor Tournaments. Having these at least once a season would be incredible.
• Teams would sign up and compete in a bracket system until a winner is decided.
• The prize pool doesn't even need to be provided by you; for example, teams could pay a 50M gold entry fee, and the total gold collected from all participating teams would become the final reward.
