These types of threads have been made for well over a decade (many probably before arcane legends was even released, or shortly after in 2013-2014) for STS other games, Pocket Legends mainly. While Arcane Legends was in its renaissance period with thousands of active players, PL players asked why there was never marketing done beyond the games initial launch in 2010. They made a "commercial" And I mention that loosely (who knows if it actually aired anywhere, maybe a convention.) But it was essentially just a YouTube video with a production team.
Now it's come full circle with AL it seems. As an outsider looking in at least that's how it looks to me. Every other thread seems to be something along these lines, I didn't even know which one to comment on.
One can only imagine the return on investment if Markiplier or even a smaller but still popular creator made a video of your game. Back in the day when we gave this idea, the price creators would charge was likely pennies compared to what they would now. These days buying ad space in random apps and websites would be useless, let's be real. The internet has devolved heavily in the last few years. Dead Internet theory isn't a theory anymore, 90% of social media posts are not made by a human.
