From before the global damage reduction added recently, crafted vs uncrafted elite-mythic was a significant difference, your opponent has 1-2k more armor than you and consequently hits you harder resulting in you dying in 1-2 less hits than them, this is obviously unwinnable, there are times uncrafted could kill crafted because the damage was very high, but the advantage crafted gets makes it unbeatable overall unless you had your own crafted set.
After the much needed damage reduction added to lobbies this gap between the 2 sets grew significantly to where even being lucky doesn’t get you the kill. For example an uncrafted bird will hit a crafted bird for 1800-2100 damage max while the opposite hits the other for 2300-3000 damage max, that’s a whole 40% more just because they have tinker equipped.
Players are unable to play the level unless they have tinker equipped with crafted mythic, the bonus given from tinker should only be applied to pve, this is an extremely quick fix and much needed to making the endgame pvp fair for all.
Also important! Mages heal should not buff your armor at all, or at least not in pvp, majority of classes have buffs that buff their armor by 20% and mages heal is an infinite uptime buff of 20% armor, this is clearly unfair, why should heal powercreep everyone’s armor buff, mage already has 2 armor buffs with mana shield and blessing of vitality that push their armor to crafted set levels without needing tinker on.
