Default each map should have their own type of chest for a specific class of equipment.

Right now everyone just farms elite village and elite tower for gear.

Each map should have its own type of chests for dropping specific types of items.

    For example:
Tower of Mardom should drop weapon chests only. So if you want a good wep, you farm tower.
The Dead City Outskirts can drop ring chests only. So if you want a good ring, you farm outskirts.
Same with helms necklaces and armors etc for other maps.

This way there is a reason to go to other maps. Right now, everyone just plays elite village, elite tower, and tombs 4 to level.

The other maps dont even get played.

Or they could follow the real mmos and make elite bosses drop tokens. For example, each elite boss has maybe a 5-10% chance of dropping it's respective token, such as Dead City Token 1. Then you can exchange all five tokens for a piece of top tier gear from a vendor.

The whole concept of random drops from random chests is annoying and just leads to inflation. It's the same in all STS games where it's remarkably easy to manipulate the markets with a few friends. Top gear shouldn't be able to be purchased with gold or plat... maybe second tier gear, but top tier gear should only be obtainable with skill... not a skilled friend to give or trade it to you, but actual skill.

It also shouldn't be so dependent on mindless repetitive farming. Make elite areas hard enough that clearing all of them will take half way to the next update, not getting everyone farming them the day of the update.

I mean seriously sts... doesn't this model make you mad as devs since nobody enjoys the content you make? They just farm a single thing over and over because it's fastest. Making it skill based and not manipulated economy based would be a huge boon to the game!
