1. Everything is P2W
Very pay to win. Only people who played for a very long time can be free to play. For new to mid players COMPLETELY impossible to play the game, and no one wants to pay for a game that theyll lose interest in. The gap is crazy big between free and paid. Sometimes I just buy up some plat and call it a day. Or, dune farming which is good but takes a while still (with 1,560gl plus additional 100 with pets) since i cannot run nonstop these days and i dont got the passion to play 8 hrs a day. Credit card and farming gap is too big atm.
2. Awakening
Definition of scam. Don't know how they got away with robbing us for this long. change this up like you said sts stop giving us useless awakes. if youre lazy bring back old system. dont piss me off FUH am i gona do with .25 lethality. shadow/cosmic/nature dmg. had a full shadow set gemmed and awaked, and it stayed useless whole elder woods era. ty for your service.
3. APs
Rework is fine, makes players grind for 1k bosses since they give more so nice. What is not nice is pet evo aps and billionaire title. We know you need money but earn it from us and not rob it from us.
4. Events
hot garbage tier rewards. it cannot be that hard to have good rewards. elite gems, keys, nice vanity at plat tier, decent pet not with random trashy stats at gold tier and boom HOW EASY IS THAT???
5. Slots
Robbery. 1 year i have 250/1000 craft inv slots paid for inventory slots. just give us slots for game tokens like back then it be that hard not to rob us. the fact that top players need this is just aids. im suppose to straight up swipe my credit card for this? (i probably will congrats on the 100$)
6. Variety of Maps
Non existent. Dune 1 or waste of time.
7. Grindable gear
Hah. add some arcanes to drop, hurry the process up. make blood and new arcanes droppable at 0.0000000000000001%. at least droppable. make the game good so people will actually pay and buy things instead of making whales gamble locks to loot new gear. having that as the only way is just scam.
8. Maximum Level
old players should be able to level alts faster, and new players should have to go through a grind to reach max level, however no new or old player will really want to grind levels this game that much so idk.
9. Bind on Equip
scam to make people pay real money for gear. #1 most unnecessary addition to the game. but good so ppl cant share gears. am i happy? FUHHHH no 100m completely down the drain for each veil pieces...AND have to gamble with trash awake system for good awakes... ggs
my dearest sts we love your game please lock in. we only harsh because yall making some trash *** decisions continously. make feedback threads and we can give you actual feedbacks. EVERYONE would be more than happy to help you.
I agree with you and although I have supported this game financially for years, I'm not spending anymore of my money on it. The bound on equip was the final straw and I could and would have put up with that bad decision if it was stashable like the old mythics. I'm not a lb player but I do like to swap a couple of my rogues around and feel like I earned the right to do that. I would like to thank you for your post but I've run out of thanks so anyone who hasn't received a thanks from me...here it is THANKS!
My biggest issue for this game is your point on Grindable gear. Why are gears all locked behind a paywall aside from lower level ones. This makes it impossible for new players to progress without investing real money into the game... Thank you for this post OP!
well, theres so many posts like this, it all ignored by them. atp, im start to think that, this system is so op profitable that they would rather shut the game down than losing that kind of system for better player experience :v. it is what it is guys, i dont think that they will change anything, all we can is hoping that the next expansion have better system to tackle this. In the meantime, good luck to all of player that are willing to spend for the availability of this BoE equipment :v. im just going to pay with gold, its a boring game anyway i doubt theres even a real new player here anymore.
Brother i then made like x3 post like this. It’s ignored and the ones that do read majority of the time are the ones that are against F2P since they already P2W. Im an og player (2015) Ive seen massive decline in this game but cant seem to stop playing it.. At some point we gotta hold ourselves accountable for continuing to play.

EXACTLY! I still play with 100% hope that the game will someday return to what it used to be.
Man, I miss the old days. I MISS THE OLD PVP!
Full CTF lobbies all day long. Every player had different gear, yet somehow everything worked. Guild rivalries, allies, enemies… every PvP match felt exciting because there was actual history and context behind it.
Now it’s just the same people, using the same gear, doing the same thing over and over.
I mean, come on! Rogues one-shot other rogues and get one-shot by warriors and mages as well. Warriors have range now! Imagine that back in the day. They’re nearly unkillable, can one-shot every class, and with Haste on top of that… bruh, it’s crazy. Infinite Juggernaut, infinite healing. Mages feel a bit more balanced to me, but they still have insane sustain and damage.
Everything in PvP is just too overpowered now, awakes, OP procs. I miss the old days, simpler items. Everyone had the same movement speed, but there were different combos, different builds, and different ideas. That made everything so much more exciting.
As you can probably tell from my name, PvP is my main focus, so I won’t address other subjects for now haha.
Truly sad what’s happening to the game.

PvP shifted harder to P2W than PvE. The awakes/jewels etc is crazy now, and they keep releasing new gems as well so it’s either get with the program or quit. I only play for PvP i hated PvE since we couldnt farm KM3 for lockeds or eggs like malison. Like everyone else im an OG player playing for nostalgia, hoping for Justg’s return or someone like him, he had the game better tuned than cinco.

Back at it again with the good ol "close to the end of season new set of items that will change the current meta of gear and forces you to use the wallet in order to compete"
Tired of this, back to World of warcraft looking for my mounts
After conducting a comprehensive analysis of the points presented in your post, I have identified several areas where I both agree and disagree. As an advanced language model-generated response, I will provide a structured evaluation of each argument in a logical and systematic manner.
1. Pay-to-Win (P2W)
While it is factually accurate that endgame optimization requires a significant amount of gold and resources, it is not entirely correct to conclude that this automatically means the game is dying. Many players continue to invest substantial amounts of both time and money into Arcane Legends. Additionally, not every player is aiming for the absolute top 1% of performance. However, I do agree that the barrier to entry for newer players appears excesively high.
2. Awakening System
I concur that the awakening system contains numerous outcomes that provide minimal practical value. From an optimization perspective, reducing low-value awakenings would likely improve player satisfaction metrics and overall engagement. The continued delay is somewhat puzzling.
3. Achievement Points (APs)
This is a mixed scenario. Some newly added APs feel oddly specific and disconnected from actual gameplay progression. Simultaniously, there are long-requested APs that remain unchanged. This creates an inconsistant experience for achievement-focused players.
4. Events
Your criticism is understandable, although enjoyment is highly subjective. Certain players report positive experiences during events while others experience boredom due to repetitive mechanics. It may be beneficial for the development team to increase variation and innovation within future event structures.
5. Slots
I find this point particularly compelling. Inventory management is a fundamental gameplay system, and new players being constrained by limited slots creates unnecessary friction. A token vendor solution seems reasonably efficent.
6. Map Variety
From a game design perspective, content diversity is important for long-term retention. Reusing older maps while introducing new rewards could potentially increase engagement without requiring extensive development resources.
7. Grindable Gear
This observation appears largely accurate. When grindable gear rapidly becomes obsolete, the incentive to grind decreases substantially. Players generally prefer progression systems that retain value over time.
8. Maximum Level
I strongly agree with this point. Reaching maximum level in approximately 10 minutes creates a perception that the achievement lacks significance. Historically, level progression represented a meaningful milestone. Current progression feels somewhat acceleratd.
9. Bind on Equip
This topic is more complex. While bound gear can improve long-term progression systems, it also reduces player freedom and market activity. A hybrid approach, similar to the example you provided, may represent a more balanced solution.
Conclusion
In conclusion, your post raises several valid concerns regarding progression systems, player retention, itemization, and content longevity. However, I do not believe these issues alone demonstrate that the game is “dieing.” The game clearly retains a dedicated playerbase willing to spend both time and money. The more accurate conclusion is that many players are seeking modernization and improvement rather than witnessing the collapse of the game itself.
Thank you for reading this detailed and comprehensive analysis generated through a highly structured evaluative process. 🤖
You definitely didn’t use AI just to “polish” your answer. And if you did, then you clearly know very little about this game, because your responses make absolutely no sense.
Also, thank God you’re not a developer, because your second point about new players is completely absurd. How exactly are new players supposed to buy items worth millions of gold when they can’t even reach level 91 and farm efficiently?
OF COURSE THEY ARE WEAK. They’re new players. That’s exactly why STS needs to help them progress and reach endgame. As things stand, many new players are quitting before they even reach level 60. Leveling up is meant to be challenging but manageable without too much wear, not challenging that becomes so boring that people quit.
Without new players, the game has no future. Veteran players quit all the time, and one day most of us playing today won’t be anymore. If there aren’t enough new players coming in and staying, the game will continue to decline until it eventually dies.
