Leveling became harder now?

Why, I finished shuyal but only landed me to lv33 despite having elixirs normally through gameplay should yield character to around lv41-45 after finishing shuyal campaign now I have to do daily quest in this cap to meet requirements and unlock tindirin made the game harder to reach endgame and advancement pack no longer provide basic gear

Going to be honest about the whole leveling thing.


In most games you can’t and shouldn’t be able to get to max level or beat the game in 1 week…. It takes a grind and hours of gameplay before you get there. This should be no different with AL

This isn't your typical most game the focus of this game is at the endgame no content or good thing to do at lower levels being stuck here for months or weeks without actual thing to do aside from leveling most likely discouraged ppl from continuing since almost all event are endgame base below that you'll be alone in the event zone that you can't beat without the max gear at that cap you're in, unlike most games where lower levels gets content and has gears/reward that are achievable at that level and also the underwhelming rewards they even removed the advancement gears

Fast track to cap and fast track to boredom and standing on X beach until next cap. 🤔

TBH I have been playing AL since 2012 and I haven't been able to hit the cap until the 71 I think. Yeah, skill issue, most of the time I was just passive in the game. Talking to people, trading... But I have always loved the game and I stuck to it. Do I miss the old times? Yes, a little bit. It would be cool to farm levels again Just a bit maybe. Only if there was no other option though.

that would work only if this game has interesting level progressing content. I see nothing like this in today AL because AL highly focused on endgame right now. Old days yes, but today? all things shifted. U played long enough but im confused u didnt realize this

Well people like me who are old players have been through a long journey. During that time everyone was new and we all levelled together and each expansion was an adventure we shared. It was difficult and difficult made it good. I'm not going to harp on about the good old days.
If you start now, you missed all that camaraderie and probably want to reach the endgame as quickly as possible. You will probably need to run the maps alone and something that took old players years to reach and save up for is now doable in a few weeks.
Yes there are changes but in the early days the maps were harder..a lot harder. You can always tell an OG by the amount of deaths incurred.
You will need to pay. You can't expect to get op gears for endgame without paying. Nowadays everyone needs a speed set, legendary gears just don't cut it so I can't see anyone new being able to get from level 1 to endgame without having to use plat.

1 to 91 without the use of plat, solely using gold from quest line to buy xp/speed/damage kits took me about 1.5 weeks roughly only doing daily turn in even with double xp at the start and ended of it. Did it for research purposes only

It is way easier to lvl up now than before. When cap lvl was 61 you had to do like 1-2 months of daily quests

Takes me about 3-4 hours max solo to level from 1-91 with around 1m spent in pets and about 20 plat
