I'm not sure what you are asking, but level 20 gear can have more stats than level 21 gear.

I got a level 20 set, and right now the price of level 21 sets seems overpriced for the very slight stat boost. That's just my opinion. So unless you have enough money to get the very best level 21 gear, you probably would be better off getting the best level 20 gear instead of level 21 gear that's not the best.

Example: My level 20 clever flamestrike rod of assault is better than a level 21 clever flamestrike rod of force

Well if you want the best stats possible you need 21 gear but 20 is still really good if you get the high end items.

It's a matter of small numbers. A few strength points here, a few more dmg there, etc.

yea ill go for 20 gears no point rushing to cap just for cool gears
