THE ELITE DUNEVEIL GAUNTLET

A mysterious Harrowcite Portal* appears in Camp Salvation.
It marks the arrival of an Elite 'endless wave' dungeon!

TIMING
The Elite Duneveil Gauntlet content is scheduled to go live at 1:30PM Central on July 9th

HOW TO PLAY
Complete the standard Duneveil Campaign to get started!
Investigate the mysterious portal that has appeared on the outskirts of Camp Salvation.

Learn what you can from Lord Wyr, the Baron's chief of security.
Explore the 6th floor of the Duneveil Cave in search of a Sand Crystal Key*.



Spend one (1) Sand Crystal Key to enter the Harrowcite Portal.
Sand Crystal Keys are character-bound and the number keys you can carry is limited.

* The Sand Crystal Key can be used to enter the portal or it can be broken and its contents (the 'Sand Crystal') can be used to craft certain items!

SOME FINAL NOTES

On Difficulty:
The Elite Duneveil Gauntlet is not for the average-geared player.
Good equipment, powerful Pets, strategy and teamwork are required.

On Scheduling:
Dropping a new permanent gauntlet immediately after a major "gauntlet" event is not ideal.
Some Legends will have had enough of 'endless wave' style content - and that's understandable.
Nevertheless, I feel like this is the sort of content that Duneveil needs rn. Plus, it's fun!

Is the difficulty of normal Duneveil going to be nerfed?

Can you say anything about the gold drop? And to enter the portal, will it be necessary to have completed all the current Dunevil quests?

We need to know about the gold drop will we get an great choice here for farming or not? If the drop is only slightly better we may still choose hedo/dune 1 as our best choice to farm fue to the higher difficulty we need to know devs this seems like a good advantage on the game

Nice stuff but how is there again no good gear as drops for f2p players? What direction are we heading? I am not f2p but a game without an active f2p community is a dead game. Everything has been more than p2w lately and I expected a more of elite dune in that regard. Give us something to grind for, give us the rush of adrenaline when looting a good piece of gear

Not gonna lie, I love this! This way we only gotta do 1k runs of 20 waves in order to get all the grind APs as opposed to 9k runs in elder elite.
Great work on everything but we would all really appreciate if there was something nice to loot like bound blood gear or something similar.
