Looking for advice on how to enjoy the game again

Hi everyone,

I’ve reached a point where I’m not sure what to do next in Arcane Legends, and I’d love to hear your opinions.

What keeps you motivated to log in every day? Do you collect rare vanities, build different gear sets, play PvP, collect pets, decorate houses, or set personal goals?

I’m also interested in trying a strong endgame class. If you think a certain class is worth building, could you also give me a rough idea of what it would take to fully gear it up (gear, pets, artifacts, jewels, awakenings, etc.)? It doesn’t have to be an exact number just an estimate so I know what to aim for.

I’m mainly looking for ideas that make the game fun in the long run. If you were in my position, what would you do?

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thanks!

Well based on my personal taste, i use to run lb events and try hard every one. I would sell everything for profit but then it got boring af. Now i find myself buying more items, testing new pet combos and just exploring the game more. Tried hardcore as well and it was fun, slow but fun. I've always merched a lot as well and now i just farm, game gave me a lot more fun when i stepped away from the time consuming parts, i never try to be OP, never try to be the best, i log in and upgrade my stuff. Run a few maps and log out😅

Thanks, I really appreciate your advice. I think you’re right that focusing too much on profit and always trying to be OP can take away the fun. Maybe I need to slow down and just enjoy the game more.

Events keep me motivated, but unfortunately all the events after arlorian boss hunt have been piss boring. There's nothing to do in this game. Seems like elite duneveil is also failure as i didn't like what i read.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I can definitely understand where you’re coming from. I’m not ready to quit just yet though I still want to give the game one more chance. I’d really like to hear from people who are still enjoying AL. What keeps you logging in every day, and what goals or activities make the game fun for you?

Running for aps, it fix a goal and there are many. Running lb to get the rewards and at same time it’s a different map, new challenge. Wish I had more time for my house as if you look home show and visit you can see that people are doing incredible built, that can gives ideas. There is a lot of craftable things in game, did you craft them all? And there is hardcore and then seasonnal, time lb… There are just too many possibilities and not enough time in a day haha

I connected with my friends, my career, and my family in a deeper and more meaningful way. I set some additional personal goals.

I stopped grinding APs. I literally don’t care them any more.

When I spend time in game it’s catching up with friends or playing for a few minutes. I also keep solid in my refusal to do any shopping APs where I pay with my gold like the billionaire BS, evolving pets, and wasting my gold buying badges and titles. Lmao. I can’t believe I did that before.

So that’s it. Pulling way back and coming here when I feel like it on my own terms. Then it’s fun.

Try gather party in discord voice channel to run some HC at 2x XP event as group of 4. In some extent quite nostalgic, as in good old times but slightly more harsh.

I remember my middle school band teacher's response to a student. The student had some complaint to the effect that they were bored. The teacher said there will be times you wish you were bored. That is the default state of life after a while. Boredom isn't a concept you can relate to can relate to anymore. There are a few things though, that you can do in game. Finishing the maps, like getting to the end of the Duneveil story, or whatever new thing comes out. You can make a top 50 guild. Or you can decorate your house to keep making it look better.

Honestly the game is slowly dying while milking a few whales on the way down..repeat stuff, everything is real money worth especially if you want cool stuff and op gear or billions for bound items that in less than a year will become rubbish just to release new more op stuff for plat and on and on repeat cycle.
Nobody plays anymore to enjoy the game it's only the nostalgia hitting so you log in sit idle in a city maybe play a fun event that are only one or two per year and that's it.
Devs don't seem to notice or they don't really care to change their strategy to make it actually enjoyable cause the way they milking those few plat buyers is like a lifeboat for them to survive and dramatically changing stuff like special loot, grindable rare drops from bosses all over the maps, reviving old fun stuff and making the good old arcane 2014-16 we all fell in love, it would be the end of them.

I was actually part of the whales ..giving them tens of thousands over the years (been playing 13 years don't judge) but the disrespect is huge so I just stopped supporting anymore cause they don't seem to want our feedback or understand or talk to us ogs.

That is my opinion and how I feel, curious to what other players think! <3

I donÂ’t agree.., there was and still have lot of upgrade and contents. This event as example, those gold loot gems can be buy with tokens. And then with a good gold loot set and willing to farm people can aquire one by one higher gears. Or then i seen alchimist selling for 80m, that gold can be use for new gears.. even no plats players can find ways to make gold and increase. Just take a little more time and farming.

People can run for lb, aps, hcÂ…there is always something to work on. ThereÂ’s a lot of things to craft in game, lot of quests..

And then there is the xp day, double spirit, double tokens.. new lvl up banner been add, itÂ’s something to work on too. There is the badges and titles from Maps to get also with maps currencyÂ… those cost nothing, only need to be farm.

Just require to get some goals fix and work on them one by one, enjoy all new events or game addition and take advantage of those to achieve goals faster.

I've been hardcore lb player since 2016. I have probably every banner/title/backpack from then up until now. I've found myself bored "profiting", i always wanted to do seasonal so i did it this time. Never straight up ran aps until now and its shown me how fun the game can be when you're main goal isn't to profit from everything, I've made a few hundred mil's from event stones and that's enough for me😊. Trying something of my norm, no crazy 12-16 hours like before in lb switching phones and showering every 6-8 hours🤣
