profile photo upload error - entity id missing?

I tried uploading an image for my forum profile pic and it said 'entity id missing'.

Maybe the image you try to upload is too big? too heavy? too large? not in the good .jpeg?
"The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller). "
