Classic Arcane Legends

Hello all.
1. I'd like to introduce myself first. I've been playing this game for 10 years on and off. I joined when Nordr was the newest expansion, i remember waiting in front of Kraag gates for the server announcement that the new expansion is added and we could go through the door .
And i believe there there are a number of people who remember these times. When everything was more simpler, no OP awakes, no gold loot, when events were an exclusive source of gold. When legendary items actually meant something and Arcane/Mythic were extremely rare and had value. When brackenridge on elite was hard to clear, farming Malison egg. Legendary pets being good, farming locked crates with Lepre from Jarl and the Mines.
Those days...
While I don't want to criticize the way modern Arcane legends is, as some people enjoy it and want to keep their characters progress, i believe many people have also quit the game from those changes.

2. What i suggest:
I see a lot of video games getting their old versions remastered, resold, "classic" versions ETC.
Dear Arcane Legends team, would you ever consider adding a separate server or perhaps entirely different game client where we could get to experience Arcane Legends as it was back then, from its first ever expansion and have it progress to the older expansions.
I can't say certain numbers, but I believe a lot of old players could possibly return and I am positive current players would give it a shot too.

I know how you are feeling. You have the memories of the good old days. Keep them. Also, one day, you will feel nostalgic about today.
Try to make most out of what you have at the moment.

i quit the game a few months back but keep returning to forums in hope of seeing an "AL Classic" announcement. the AL we fell in love with (i started playing 11 years ago; wow time flies damn...) was much less monetized and was very inclusive in many ways. that AL was in a growth phase where its primary goal was to acquire as many new players as possible. hence it was a lot more accessible with far fewer - compared to now - p2w elements.

today's AL is now in a saturation phase (or maybe even decline phase) which relies on awakes, auras, busted weapons and jewels, and micro-marginal odds based lootboxes to make money. back then, crates didnt feel as "unlucky" as they do now; legendary weapons actually meant something; arcanes and mythics - which is what you chased crates for - amplified your gameplay but you could very well do with simple legendary loot; essentially you got a lot more for your money back then. since today's money making tactics didn't exist back then, a faithful reconstruction of that AL - even if its capped at lvl41 - the same AL you and i fell in love with and want to return to, will never come back on account of it never being able to produce decent returns on whatever investment of resources STS puts into it.

i mean, i fully understand that sts and AL are a business first and making money is their only objective. we can hope for it but i very much doubt sts will bring an unadulterated AL Classic. IF any version of Classic does get released, it will be laced with the same things that modern "retail" AL is plagued with, and eventually even that AL Classic will be poisoned.

id love to be proven wrong and hence keep lurking around every few months or so

I wouldn't necessarily say it won't be profitable for STS ,speaking entirely about their revenue. Old locked crates opening, Old vanity shop and they used to sell a full legendary set in the shop(deep sea) both a source of plat, elixirs weren't as common as today, so buying with plat again. Lepre from the shop..
That's like the first 5 things that came in my mind thinking for less than a minute.
Maybe STS could add some custom stuff in between if they don't want to keep it 100% authentic as it was back then.
