why Heroic FrostFire was nerfed?
Before Heroic FrostFire was able to stack their passive with their arcane ability,
now looks like both, passive and AA doesn't stack anymore, the grey-blue cloud and red cloud are togeter now, before the passive was just grey cloud and the AA was the red cloud
so this is just a visual issue, or a real nerf?
The damage taken debuff just does not stack, it is not that about frostfire. You can test with other pets which have damage taken debuff and observe it (for instance heroic siege and frostfire aa at the same time).
Passive & AA curse never stacked on this pet and the grey cloud is visual of mage's curse skill, frostfire always had this double color visual.

When the pet was first released, the cloud was so hard to see that I suggested they improve it; they then added a larger, more visible cloud (they divided grey and red cloud for passive and for the AA)
The passive generated the gray one, and the AA generated the red one, stacking up to X4
So, what we know is that this is a visual issue or a shadow nerf
