Invite the player you want to play with from the social screen, after you added them as friend.

-Click on a map to bring up this screen on the pic.
-pick solo (so only ppl u invite can join)
-invite your friend to map using your friends list (cant join maps if inventory is full)
-now u can progress through maps together after killing boss go to "next", and u travel together
