Increase gold cap?

The gold cap isn't very high imo, lots of people are hitting it these days, wouldn't it be nice if sts increased it?

Yeah but then people would charge a heck of a lot more on items. Then in-game poor people would have a hard time.

And maybe let from chests drops not only gold, but and epic loot...

Just make a gold sink, if you increased the gold rate on chests, people would farm them non-stop.

PL is too far in for a gold sink. I mean if all the oldies quit and didnt recirculate their wealth then a gold sink would be manageable imo. Lol

This was confronted more than a year ago. The idea was to create a system similar to order an chaos. X = 1 m x would obviously be a type of material, if you have 50 peices of this you have 50 mil. Alot know what I'm talking about but trying to dumb it down for newcomers or possible human beings that can't comprehend this idea.

I think that they should, however, consider that the title "Zillionare" would become harder to get and some people might complain.

You could keep "Zillionaire" requiring still 9,999,999 regardless of cap.

I agree it shouldn't be raised. It will just cause items to cost more.

How exactly would raising the amount of gold you can carry at one time raise prices?

That's just dumb

Anyway I agree some items are so expensive you have to trade on the honor system. We can't cross game trade be ause it would be to easy to scam but this is ok?

For one thing.....
If gold cap is increased the item can be listed for a higher amount in CS.

When certain items come out ppl have just priced them at gold cap because it makes them able to list in CS and easy for trade. If gold cap gets raised ppl the new standard for listing certain items will higher.

I see what you're saying, and that makes sense in theory, but I tend to wonder if that's really true. Supply and demand generally runs prices. Also, the higher the item is listed for, the more money it costs to list it. Putting items above and beyond gold cap would be risjy. I'm not sayin your theory isn't true, but I wouldn't be too, too quick to make that assumption.

Ok so new items will be at ridiculous prices obviously as they tend to be anyway from what I've seen. But do you honestly think anyone's gonna pay more for items just because they can carry more gold? No and if the items don't sell they will drop back down in price, so sure 1 or 2 days of people(who aren't very smart) trying to list items for more gold before they give up and go back to old prices. Small sacrifice to make for something that is clearly needed

What would an increased gold cap accomplish? Would it solve any sort of problem at all? Or is it just for fun, or amusement? If something doesn't remedy an issue, or have an obvious reason, it shouldn't be added.

Please, enlighten me, I don't have these rich people issues of having a capped gold sack.
