before cap releases, there always seem to be rumours, previews, announcements, etc. leading up to the actual release. There has been none of that. I can't see it happening for a while.

But, in any event, i finally capped my Alt last night too, so I'm safe either way

If I remember correctly the new cap referenced with the Winterfest announcement. A lot of people complained so devs withheld. I on the other hand wanted the cap boost beginning of December.

If previous expansions are any indication, you'll know it's coming a few weeks before it actually happens. There won't be any surprises. I would guess it's not terribly far off though. This 2x weekend is probably a last big chance for people to cap. I'd look for an announcement pretty soon.

Pocket Legends has plenty of content to enjoy and needs LOADS of work on PvP balance that should be smooth out before any other new content is needed.

Also I wouldn't worry about the next cap, I'm sure next chance they can get to make several hundred customers spend 1000 plat in one weekend they will. I remember last January everyone rumored Humania's release at the end of the month. Developers will give plenty of notice, go ahead and sell your gear if you're worried about its value. I don't see it coming too soon .

Justg said somewhere that pvp in PL MAY be changed if AL pvp is popular enough to warrant a more in depth system.
