They are all the same. The only thing that affects the contents is the level of the character opening the chest.

Thing is prices will quickly dive until the average value of obtainable items is no longer worth the cost of opening, even for "plat-rich" players. Already prices for all but a handful of items are dropping like crazy. That's the thing I don't get about this whole concept.

I think the timing of these new items are rather strategic. Since PvP is coming this month and level cap increase is next month, the value of the new items might not drop that much because people might need those to aid them in the leaderboards. Although equipments do not make a good or bad pvper but it helps.

Its kinda obvious that equips DO make a bad/good pvper. Say for example im fighting a dude with 400 amr, 140 dps, 1.2k hp. And my stats are 690 amr, 270 dps and 1.7k hp. 99% Ill win. Well that is if ik how to spam skills.
