I got something called robbers crossbow and when i went to sell it, I was asked if I really wanted to sell something purchased from iTunes........i did not purchase this item from iTunes, so what's it talking about?

Probably means the item is able to be purchased with real life $ in the itunes store in-game option.
Makes no difference in the selling process.

Well it scared me a little making me think I was charged for the item or something lol. If you can get iTunes items as drops, that's cool

Yup, like the Croc's Frosty/Nature/Fiery armor, some items in the itunes store drop in dungeons.
