I haven't played in a long time now so can't name all the gear and stuff. Either go as a Ranger with a thunder attribute Bow, or thunder bolts. Or use a sword and shield preferably thunder. The trick is to learn his moves and master dodging them. Also when he is swimming bombs can bring him onto land and temporarily stun him.

1) ranger? Using the basic bows and can't seem to even scratch it.
2) trying to make a devil LS but khezu is troubling me. My thunder SNS can't reach him due to its size.
3) throwing sonic bombs won't stun it, it will make him go into rage mode instantly, fishing it will stun it and deal 100 damage ( yes, my import version shows monster health ).

Plesioth has around 3000-4000 health, best I hurt it so far is like 1200 left, then ran out of time.

Flash bombs I think work. I stocked up on a lot and the combinations for them.
