The thread already exists and as you can see its already separated they just won't let us respec them seperately

This is a legit question I have. Why STS? Why do we have to pay 5 plat for a respec, when even in purchase history they register as separate items? I noticed it today when browsing through my plat history and I was really surprised. Because it clearly means (to me) that respec for stats and skills is in fact treated differently, but for some reason we are forced to respec both. Which I just do not understand.

Please someone enlighten me, what is the reasoning behind this? (nonono, no flaming about plat hungry sts pls)
