Can you at least explain why you're against this?

Anyways, I am totally against this, some people wanna keep some loot, counting rarity or not. What if you loot a kite shield or another low rarity item that looked cool and you wanted to keep and it automatically liquidated it? Also, this will most likely lead a lot of messages being sent to the devs telling them that the auto liquidating feature liquidated something they wanted and the devs will have to read and reply to these wasteful e mails all day long. I think it's a bad idea, and very little good can from it. What's the point of it anyways? So you don't spend 10 seconds liqiodating?

I think this is a good idea as an OPTION ONLY that requires two steps to turn on. It should come with an option to get rid of greys or whites only. Something low level. Get rid of the junk items. Frankly, when you have all the items you want for your top level char and you are just farming for pinks and selling the rest, this would be a great option.
