Join date on threads are off?

What do the join dates actually mean? Because I know I joined quite a bit earlier than jan 2013... So does it mean like when you posted 100 posts or idk?

I know of several others who have this problem...

Just curious cuz ppl starting asking me 'didn't you join a lot earlier than jan 2013'?

I know for a fact I at least joined at nov 2012

My join date is right.

You know that the join date is when you joined the STS forums, not when you first played the game. Also I looked at your 'Latest Posts' section on your profile and there is no record that you have been on forums any earlier than January 2013.
