Just to add to this, if you open the crate at say level 7, is the items you receive specced to this level or would you receive say level 26 gear?
Just wondering whether to open a crate while levelling, or what till I hit the level cap, then open?

Open when capped, everything scales to your level except mythic helms / nef. Hooks.

Open them now, since the market is FLOODED with level 26 locked crate items, and the only way to make a profit if you get a pink is with off levels. Just an opinion though, since I only opened two and those were done on my 8 and not my 25 on purpose. Hmm, maybe I should not give this away
