So, I'm sort of wondering about that skill.
Is it a good or bad skill?

Due to the skill bonus which gives 25% more damage on crit, I think the usefulness of this skill really is based on an individuals playstyle. If you maintain a high crit rate shadow storm shot is a skill you might want to look into whereas if you don't stack crit, you would probably be best served picking a different skill.

I use all bow skills(+SV). Just like ^ said, if you keep a good crit rate it's usefull for AOE damage. Suggest you at least couple it with Aim Shot for crit boost. I hit like six people with that thing, helpful with Elite Mobs.

IMO it's much more useful to use trap to pull things together, assuming this is for pve.

Trap is awesome, lacks true damage though. Guess it comes down to preference.

Shadow Storm is a bad skill for PVP (Low Damage for a AOE) but is good for PVE (Kill like 5 enemies at same time)
