The name reservations were bought separately from the vanity shield for AL, which is still in the store for some reason.

No, it was used as a placeholder so devs could tell if you reserved name or not.

Well, I will give u details about different shield vanities to prevent these threads.U already know the Crimson Holoshield as it was in another thread.
Shield with a skull in it - PvP reward shield from certain PvP tournaments.
Shield with a crown - Red is GoA shield and blue is Angelic set shield. GoA was awarded to rly good ppl on forums and Angelic set was for those eho had spent 50 dollars or more to PL OR had reached lvl 66 cap as Humania went live.
Hardlight was never DotD; the red version crimson holoshield was

The hardlight shield (blue) is from reserving your name prior to the release of SL. The crismon holoshield (red) was a DotD that I missed.

(There's a reason why we always the name Yanis has a connotation of legendary, epic, unparalleled or why we always identify him as being "a legend".
The sheer amount of work accomplished by Yanis at his time was truly considered unparalleled and as of today, no such accomplishment of equal magnitude has been achieved, nor will it ever be likely achieved in the future, possibly due to the the fact that the complete categorization of not only one campaign's pinks but of all the campaigns' pinks is the only achievement on that calibur.
Oh, and there's the much more common reason as to why we use "Legendary" Yanis: Yanis documented pinks, and pinks were and probably are still referred to with the item rarity of "Legendary".)
Those two lists were updated until Fang cap I believe.
After that is when STS went crazy and started releasing Plat/Normal Vanities like crazy, and where it was just a waste of effort to document them all.

You guys forgot one other shield; the PL "Shield of Legends" or something.
Essentially, it was the same as the Kite Shield, but with a huge PL on it.
This marked the summit of all achievements, the zenith of a PL player, the legendary shield that was only attainable by personally being commended and granted it as an award by the Developers. (or by winning first place in a contest, but the true signifance of this vanity item resides in the first manner of achieving it D= )
I believe in the history of PL, only under ten players have ever acquired such an item, either through their immense
It is unarguably an honor that parallels or more likely, surpasses that of a GoA; to be a GoA, you must show immense dedication to community, assistance to others, and devotion to the game, but to be even considered for a PL shield, you must show all this and beyond.
Seeing that the GoA program has been terminated and that the last PL shield award was granted in a time before the Sewer Age ended, and that nearly all of the players who received one have quit, there is ample reason that 99.9% of players endgame or not in-game do not even know of its existence, and that even many forumers have either forgotten or never perceived its existence.
Thus, I withdraw my previous statement.
There IS truly a parallel to the infatuating and legendary connotations associated with the Bronx Bomber; the Pocket Legends' Shield of Legends.

I believe several PL shields were given out around a year ago for a contest.
I think most who won either quit or were banned though.
Yanis did so much and nobody looks at his threads now, how sad.

That's not true. New guides are posted all the time that I'm very impressed with. It's just no one ever takes the time to read them.
