Theres allot more options for pvp, the ones listed above are my favs tho.

Depends on the map, I suppose. I feel time shift is not much use when you are trying to kill a boss, you can't root them. On the other hand, many maps have mobs on the way to the boss, and you want to stop them moving around. Tanks wanted me to have Time shift in elite southern seas, for example. Crowd control and aoe are the sorcerer's main jobs. I think rogues are better at boss killing anyway, so I have the pve build mentioned above, fire time frost heal.

PvE: Fire, Gale, Frost (or lightning, if u run more elites; light good for bosses), Heal.
PvP: Fire, Lightning, Shield, Heal.
Make em hybrid by using Fire, Frost, Shield, Heal. I'm not a big fan of shield, but you use what works! And hope this isn't a necro
