Default Bears Need to Suck It Up and Use Taunt

Something ridiculous has been going on in pocket legends. I have noticed that there will be bears in a party and they are too scared to lead the charge into a mob. They leave it to the characters with lower health to do it. I understand this does not include all bears but it does include some. Plz try to fix it.

Now on to my main complaint, bears need to use taunt more. They do the least damage(behind paladins), so the bosses don't attack them. The party would BENEFIT if the bears took the damage because the warrior has the most health. But how could i get the boss to attack me? they say. USE TAUNT. I am not trying to pin down warriors and say that they are wimps but some of you warriors need to use taunt more. It is a skill for a reason

Correction, Rhinoes deals the WORST damage compared to bears. At least Bears are capable of dealing competant DPS.

But I do agree with your point, bears are meant to tank and deal DPS, not to stay away from gaining aggro. Such bears I would consider them noobs, be it they are level 76 or with thrasher.

The problem with taunt, even in a maxed state, is the amount of damage bears deal. With the insane amount of damage mages and birds do, taunt only works long enough for for a bird/mage to get a hit and aggro is focused back on them. The best chance a bear has is to use either a two-handed sword/weapon or a bow which drastically decreases the tanking abilities. Some of us can handle the pot spamming, but not many can.

I agree that bears are truly a dying breed. However, it has been this way since elixirs hit it big back at the end of Sewers, beginning of Nuri's.

So am I correct in saying that the bear is the worst class? I mean the paladin like never dies, the mage has good skills overall, the archer does tons of DPS, and the ranger has tremendous DPS with skills that could probably challenge the archers. The bear just has health, rage, iron-blood, and beckon/stomp combo. However, I do believe that all classes are needed to make the game. We can't have a pocket legends of just archers or just paladins, I still think that the bear is some-what needed. Just not as much now that the paladin(a health tank) has come out.

Actually, those of us who know how to play the class properly would argue, bears, are the best class.

Bears especially once you hit 65 are by far the most overpowered class, with any decent gear, they will have essentially a 180 damage boost as long as rage is in effect, constant 28 extra dodge for those who know how to play the class at all, as well as debuffs essentially making them invincible.
Main thing that needs fixed is scattering, which really isnt that major when with elixirs a beckon stomp leaves like 1% enemy health left

mainly due to the massive health pool, where as a 600 damage skill will kill pure birds, unshielded mages, most strength rhinos and foxes. A bear can survive spam a few pots and take another huge hit.

Man it's been a long time since I've played pl. But I have to say, bear is the hardest class to play. It's the easiest class to make yourself look like a noob. If you find a bear that really knows how to play, it's a thing of beauty. Easily was my favorite class.

It is not just about "rage" and the other skills. "Smash" (beckon+stomp) may be the most powerful/useful skill in game when used appropriately. Beckon is the only skill in game with the capability to quickly effectively group a large mass of mobs, place them in a particular spot on the map, stun, and cause damage all at once. When combined with Stomp and a mage's Ice Storm, it's game over. Stank and I have cleared thousands upon thousands of maps with just these three "damage" skills.

One must have an understanding of all classes to truly understand the benefit of one.

I am about to make a fox. Look for a comparative guide to compare/contrast the two.
