My characters on my PL account got deleted.

I haven't been playing PL for a few weeks due to studying for my finals. I recently logged on and my three characters have been deleted. My account still works and I still have the same amount of platinum I remember I had, but that's practically all I have left... Please respond to help me get my characters back if possible. Thanks.
