    Bonus DMG% is a mystery stat.

    There are many theories on it's use in damage calculation, but, as far as I am aware, there is no Dev statement on the subject.

    The devs do know, they're just not telling, I assume its a pointless stat (like dps). I focus on maxing my damage stat.

    No no... don't ignore this stat...
    it helps decide in respecing the character... very important...
    If it works like as i said in subject .. it cannot be ignored...

    CosmoxKramer has the best theory on what the Bonus DMG% used for:

    Check out some of his posts, he backs up his theories with plenty of evidence (in the form of Google Doc spreadsheets), so this is the leading theory. Like wvhills said, the Devs have not commented on the subject, so all we have are theories.

    Dmg base * dmg bonus = dmg

    Dmg output = ( skill dmg /or/ dmg when normall auto attack) * ( 100 + pet dmg bonus + passiv dmg bonus )/100 * ( 100- damage reduction)/100 / 2^(lvl difference /5)

    Damage reduction = defense * 0,047 + dmg reduction from pets and skills

    More or less, i'm not dev :-P

    Interesting. You are right on the damage shown including the bonus damage, and the percents. What I am really curious about is that level difference part you have in there. May I ask where you got that from? I assume it is from testing, would you share your method and results? An exponential level difference component which would flip the damage reduction to a magnification would make sense.

    Pets tests.
    Similar dmg, different lvls.
    Elite forest, first mob, checking of max non crit dmg.
    I wanted test some time ago, why lov lvl pets make 0 dmg. Same reason is for warnings when u go to high lvls areas like kraken or nordr. With 21 lvl it was very hard, even for normal maps with the best gear.
    Well i'm not sure of 100% accuracy of this equalation, but its fine enought for me :-)
