Artisan is better IMO, the build is fine, but I would use 6 rage 3 stomp 2 SMS because the only reason you would need SMS (in my opinion) is to make the opponent fly (stomp and SMS super quickly). I prefer SMS over Vengeful, but it's your preference.

Another way to make 'em fly is MOAR STOMP!! The more you level it up, the more push-back and "pop" your stomp gets. 4 stomp + 1 SMS = FLY BABY FLY

Also what 1h, shield, and helm should I use until I get plat?

Doesn't really matter, use any pink Halloween shield. I recommend either Goulish Black Cat Shield, or Gruesome Evidence Bracer. Hope this helps!

BLARG... Birds are only "op" because of their dodge... and that gets REALLY annoying after a while! Most birds are 75%-90% luck, 10%-25% skill.

3 stomp and 4 stomp has same range, why 4 stomp?

No ib to counter the slight damage increase, so if you get skilled at stomping, the little damage increase and fact that first stomp = no second slash hit, it's better than 6311.

Not really OP because of dodge, us bears did quite fine against them when they had toy wands instead of fbows, it's more of the combination of dodge and the significant increase in damage from fbows.
