I had the same problem with my iPhone. A friend had introduced me to the game, which I downloaded from the App Store, so I wasn't familiar with the registration process. The battery needed servicing, so I had backed up the iPhone, took it to my local Apple Store and they traded it in for a new one. After restoring my iPhone to its previous state from its backup, Pocket Legends doesn't let me play my previous character, it prompts me to create a new character. When I try to create a new character with the same name, it won't let me as it says the character already exists.
