Increase gold drop in elite ekenta and mecharydon

I'm not sure if it's just me but elite ekenta drops a lower amount of gold as compared to normal mode (excluding the chest gold off). I ran about 10 times yesterday and the gold I've gotten from normal is 30k+ and in elite mode 15k+.
